Proof of Predation 750 000 000 Years Ago
by cofty inpaleontologists have discovered the cause of small holes that have frequently been observed in ancient eukaryote fossils.
please check out the source even if you only look at the amazing picture.... they were being sucked dry by other predatory species.. forget about a "fall" from a disneyesque utopia.
creatures have been consuming each other since the very beginning of life.. reality is far more exciting than fantasy.

This is nothing really new. The ongoing theory on how Eukaryotic organisms may have developed organelles is the predatory nature of prokaryotic cells devouring other prokaryotic cells. Endosymbios proposed that through this method mitochondria and chloroplast may have came into existence. -

Warwick Safety Orientation
by wifibandit inwelcome to warwick safety orientation!
each warwick volunteer is required to view the entire three-hour program and complete the five short quizzes one week before arriving at warwick.
to benefit fully from each of the five sections, we recommend that you set aside time in a quiet location with minimal distractions and give the program your full attention.

I've been involved in multiple safety courses and safety teams in both retail settings and medical facilities. I worked on quick builds and on a Watchtower citrus farm in the 90's. I didn't see an urgency in following safety protocols if there were any. I saw young children using power tools or climbing 15 foot ladders to pick citrus. At Walmart if you're under 18 you can't even operate an electric powered cart pusher. In the medical facility every day we had a safety topic on proper lifting, patient safety, and infection control.
I would see many brothers and sisters twisting and lifting with their backs at WT projects. When I would go pick citrus in Leigh Acres, FL (I think they sold that place) there was no safety training, no safety gear provided, and no warning about the snakes in the field. Only one I saw with helmets were the ones doing packing.

Taking bets on how long this cult will last and what will happen to it
by macys ini wanna make a poll here.
how many years do you think the jdub cult will exist as is and what will happen to it?.
i say the growth stops this year and starts to decline.
-
adjusted knowledge
I think probably a major decline might start in 30 to 50 years. But that may happen with religion in general. In 50 years I believe, if mankind doesn't destroy itself, major technological advances that will stir more people away from religion. Finding advance life forms would definitely help I think.
It doesn't really matter though as I fear most of us will be long dead before any real decline happens. I'm just happy my daughter and any other children I may have will not be influenced by this sadistic cult.

He has a decent speaking voice but his facial expressions are over the top, and his tone/pitch is as if he's speaking to children. He comes across as arrogant and condescending. -

Just saw this post after i created mine about birthday. I had to argue with my father about birthdays. He quoted me the WT stance from the 80's. That was the last time my father had anything to do with the witnesses. Do you know how frustrating it is to argue with a man who doesn't even believe in the WT, but yet defends them.
Basically my story is my mother is a witness but refuses to attend my daughter's birthday party.

Last year my daughter had her first birthday and all my wife's family and friends were there. My family didn't attend. My mother and sister still believe in the JW teachings even though they are both considered inactive. My father didn't go out of respect for my mother. He is not a witness but believes in some "God".
This year my Father attended but I told him I feel insulted my mother chooses not to attend and that this religion damaged my childhood. I can tell this hurt his feelings, but it was my father that brought our family into this religion when I was five years old. He left the religion when I was about 11 years old, but I was still force to adhere to the religion, which included the prohibition on "wordly" friends, no school activities and all the other normal things a child does. I resented him for forcing a religion on me he didn't accept. Though I escaped at about 19 it still robbed me of a normal childhood.
What makes me upset is my mother doesn't attend meetings, field service, or assemblies regularly. Yet she still chooses to believe despite the fact she is labeled weak and viewed by many JWs as deserving death at Armageddon. Maybe I should've let it go but I think it sucks my daughter will only see my wife's side of the family at holidays and other normal events. I think I will just wait until my daughter is older and have my mother and sister personally explain to my daughter. I know I should respect other people's beliefs but it's hard when you know The Watchtower is a cult.

I graduated from a very rural Florida school, and my class size was 42. Most of us started school together in kindergarten. They made plans next year for our 20th reunion. I probably won't go. Even though I spent 13 years of my life with them, they never got to know me. I was the odd JW that wouldn't socialize with them. They treated me indifferently which I suppose is better than being bullied. Those years were not the best because I missed out on things I really wanted to do as a child.... sports, prom, friends, honor clubs, ect.... I and like many on this board never got to experience those things.
